SANDRA MONSALVE

Was born in medellin. Colombia. Since 1999, he dedicated himself to finding the identity of his work, where the human body allowed him to express his magic, taking it later to advance anatomy studies for artists and clinical anatomy for 4 years, as well as multiple seminars and artistic workshops with masters of the city.

His work addresses various series and themes, including the representation of a dream through the Circus of the Sun, where the sequences of movements create a very complex body language full of magic, generating shows on stage, where the observers are part of the show.

He has participated in multiple exhibitions in Colombia. In 2005 his bronze sculptures were presented at the International Art Biennial of Florence, Italy, obtaining a good international critique, which allowed him later to be a jury of this event. She has also participated in multiple versions of Red Dot Art Fair Miami, Artexpo Las Vegas, Artexpo New York and in private exhibitions in Florida, through D`Victoria Fine Art, where she is currently a curator and artistic promoter.
