IVAN PINHEIRO MACHADO
Born in Porto Alegre in 1951. She studied Architecture in 1974 at the UFRGS Faculty of Architecture. Journalist since 1969. He worked at Zero Hora, Editora Abril (Exame Magazine, Veja Magazine, 4 Rodas), Folha da Manhã (Porto Alegre), Gazeta Mercantil among other communication vehicles.
Since 1974 he has been editor of L&PM Editores and L&PM POCKET.
Prize at the Salão de Arte Moderna de SP, painting category 1976.
Prize for drawing at the Salão do Museu de Arte do RS 1978.
Selection of Brazilian art at SESC Pompéia de São Paulo 1985.
Acquisition Award at Première Selection d'Art Brèsilien (Paris - France) promoted by the Center Georges Pompidou, Paris 1986.
Contract as an illustrator for Image Bank of New York, United States 1988.
Rhythms and forms of Brazilian art exhibition. Charlottebörg Museum in Copenhagen, Denmark (with Carybé, João Câmara, Siron Franco, Ianelli, Manabu Mabe, Glauco Pinto de Moraes, Iberê Camargo, Tomie Otake and Volpi) 1989.
